Project Overview
Lumen Booking runs appointment scheduling for dozens of small clinics, and their old system double-booked slots whenever two people booked at the same second. We rebuilt the booking core with proper database-level locking, added a calendar UI with live availability, and wired up automatic email reminders so no-show rates dropped noticeably in the first quarter after launch.
